Elephant Haven Thailand Kanchanaburi

Travel by private car to Elephant Haven Kanchanaburi, located about three hours from Bangkok by car. During the journey, there will be a stop at a convenience store or gas station where you can take a short break or enjoy a simple breakfast with tea or coffee. Along the way, you will pass through local communities and witness rural lifestyles, agricultural fields, farms, and the natural scenery on both sides of the road. 

 Upon arrival at Elephant Haven, you will experience meaningful encounters with elephants—getting up close to them, feeding them by hand, taking photos with them, and preparing special food for their well-being. You will walk alongside the elephants through forested areas along natural trails, observing their instinctive behaviors. As the elephants happily pause to browse on grasses and treetops along the path, you will have the chance to capture these precious memories yourself. The elephants will then wander to the river to drink and play in the sand, allowing you to witness their joyful nature and natural instincts.

Elephant Haven strictly enforces a no-riding policy. This is a place of compassion, happiness, attentive care, and genuine freedom for elephants. After gently following the elephants back toward the resting area, you will enjoy a delightful vegetarian lunch featuring a variety of tasty dishes, before continuing your journey to the historic Death Railway as your next destination.
